Return & Refund Policy

Eligibility

Returns are accepted under the following conditions:

• Timeframe: Within 7 days of delivery.
• Condition: The product must be defective, damaged during transit, or different from what was ordered.
• Packaging: The product must be in its original packaging with all accessories and tags intact.
• Proof of purchase: Order ID or invoice number is required for verification.

Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

1. Contact us at mumbaisafety.shop@gmail.com with your order ID and clear photos of the issue (defect, damage, or wrong item).
2. Review and approval: Our team will review your request and respond within 48 business hours with approval or additional instructions.
3. Reverse pickup: For approved returns, we will arrange a reverse pickup from your location at no cost to you (for defective or damaged products).
4. Inspection: Once the product reaches our warehouse, our team will inspect it to confirm the issue.
5. Refund or replacement: After successful inspection, we will process your refund or send a replacement (as per your preference).

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

• Used or altered products – items that have been worn, used, or modified in any way.
• Ear plugs and hygiene products – for health and safety reasons, these cannot be returned once opened.
• Custom bulk orders – products manufactured or sourced specifically for your order.
• Clearance or sale items – unless they are defective or damaged.

Refund Timeline

Once your return is approved and the product has been inspected, refunds are processed as follows:

• Processing: Refunds are initiated within 7 business days after inspection.
• Payment method: Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used at checkout (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, etc.).
• Bank processing: Depending on your bank or payment provider, the refund may take an additional 3-5 business days to reflect in your account.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are handled as follows:

• Defective or damaged products: We cover the cost of reverse pickup and reshipping (if replacement is requested).
• Wrong item delivered: We cover all shipping costs to correct the error.
• Change of mind: Returns due to change of mind are subject to a deduction of the original shipping cost (if free shipping was provided).

For bulk orders or special shipping arrangements, shipping costs will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
